"HOSA is the
perfect interconnect between program curriculum and leadership
development because of the experiences a student receives at the
local, state and sometimes even national levels. I am very
proud to be part of
the HOSA organization - particularly as an executive council
member and state advisor. The role of advisor to the president
and to the executive council is demanding, but extremely
the 2010-2-11 officer installation, this year’s state officers
hit the ground running and have worked extremely hard all year.
We can all take great pride in the fact that they accomplished a
huge amount of work with respect for each other and KY HOSA.
They also made some tough and impressive decisions for the
future of KY HOSA.
"During my KY HOSA tenure, it has
been a pleasure to work with four sets of state officers who
have handled many leadership activities. While all my
experiences have been positive in nature, the past two years
hold a special place in my heart because I have had the
opportunity to experience what any mother wants to see – their
