Local SkillsUSA President Myles Daffron explained to Governor Beshear that students in different programs
worked together to design and construct a Tech Prep Trash Compactor project used in the district's recycling effort.

also in attendance for the press conference held at the school including Education and Workforce Development
Secretary Helen Mountjoy, Finance and Administration Secretary Jonathan Miller; Representative
Alecia Webb-Edgington, Kentucky Education Commissioner Dr. Terry Holliday, Kenton County Schools
Superintendent Tim Hanner; Kentucky Housing Corporation CEO Rick McQuady and local dignitaries.
